    Ganache Topped Oreos

Keep it simple with ganache topped Oreos. This Oreo recipe idea only takes a pack of Oreos, cream and chocolate to create something a little different and decadent. These ones are topped with white chocolate chip eyes to adorn a Halloween table.

    Oreo Ice cream

It’s officially summer! If you are lucky enough to have an ice cream machine in this heat Oreos make for the perfect mix in.

If you don’t have an ice cream machine simple vanilla or clotted cream ice cream is just asking to be topped with Oreos. Or try blending into a thickshake.

    Oreo Sponge Cake

With a plain sponge and Oreo buttercream, an Oreo cake is a delicious treat.

The buttercream is made from 150g salted butter and 300g icing sugar, with half a pack of double stuff Oreos and half a pack of normal Oreos. You can use the remaining biscuits to decorate. If you are looking for crumbs original Oreos are best to blend. Double stuff stops the buttercream from becoming too dark and dry.

Before making this buttercream we’d recommend using a food processor. It’s best to blend at least some of the Oreo’s down to powder. This should flavour the buttercream more.

    Oreo Pizza

For something a little different, a sweet pizza! The inspiration for this came from chef in training.com.

Read on for how to make this delicious Oreo recipe idea for yourself…

First of all we made a normal pizza base and left it to one side to do its thing. BBC Good Food website has a great recipe for pizza dough.

Next whilst we were waiting we made the cream cheese glaze to go on the top.

Combine the ingredients below to create the cream cheese glaze.

    • plain philadelphia (57g)
    • icing sugar (420g)
    • double cream (56ml)
    • butter (113g)
    • a little vanilla extract.

When the dough was ready we stretched out the pizza base. Then applied a layer of marshmallow fluff (almost a whole jar full). Next we crushed some Oreos. We used 2 packets in total (reserve some for post bake) and sprinkled these on top. Once this was done we popped it in the oven.

We took the pizza out of the oven when the dough was cooked through. At that point we added some Oreo chunks, the cream cheese glaze and the salted caramel sauce.

The salted caramel sauce was created by warming sugar (200g) until amber coloured. After that add butter (90g), stirring until its melted. Subsequently, add cream (120ml) and salt to taste.

Serve in small slices as it Is delicious but very sweet!!
