Spooky Snacks -parition
Inspiration for your Halloween Movie marathon snacks!
I just have time for a short post this week but wanted to share some spooky snacks inspiration incase your are settling down to any Halloween films this weekend!
Be sure to check back soon as I will update it with more snack ideas!
Sweet little monster spooky snacks
Chocolate goodness comes in the form of Oreos topped with thick chocolate ganache (up the chocolate ratio, lower the milk/cream) topped with sugar eyes
The Popcorn has eyes
Another great use for those sugar eye toppers is popcorn! Colour white chocolate to a pale green and roll your popcorn in it (I like salted best for the contrast). You can also add mini marshmellows for texture!
Spooky Snack Rice Krispie Cakes
Why not try melting marshmellows with butter and green food colouring, mixing with rice krispies and leaving to set in a silicone tin before turning out and cutting out-yum!
A Halloween Feast of Spooky Snacks
A Halloween feast can easily be achieved using the amazing Halloween themed products you can now purchase from Supermarkets! An essential part is layers of flavours, sweet, savoury, spicy etc.
Here I arranged the chocolatey monster oreos and popcorn with a pre bought tub of Halloween sweets.
I then created a pumpkin snack plate scene with spooky cheesy sky (cheese puffs) and full moon (a stack of peanut butter cups).
A layer of Percy Gets Spooky formed the centre of my image whilst the ‘soil’ was made of mini chocolate pocket biscuits.
Spooky Potions
I like to pair my Halloween treats with a spooky concoction of Bubble Tea, The Bubble Panda being my go to for spooky drinks! They even have a Halloween themed Limited Edition box!
